This is the personal blog for Steve Earley, an experienced community reporter and copy editor transitioning from print to multi-platform journalism. Steve created this blog to share assignments he completed in the interactive media master’s program he graduated from in May. It now hosts tutorials on new (to Steve) tools and techniques and insights into the future of news.

Steve also blogs for Journalism Lives, a site exploring how innovators of the new news ecosystem are leveraging interactivity to improve news gathering and delivery.
